To be eligible for TrustMark membership through FairTrades you need to be working in the following trades general builders, conservatories, glaziers, kitchens and bathrooms, roofing and electrics amongst others.

Becoming a member of TrustMark through FairTrades membership entitles you to use the award-winning Insurance backed Guarantees, deposit protection insurance and work in progress cover, putting you a step ahead of other tradesmen. HomeOwners are increasingly wary of spending large amounts of money on projects that are not protected by a warranty. Providing all of your customers with the TrustMark IBG reassures them that they will not lose their financial investment should your business cease to trade. Including an IBG as with your work can also improve your quote to order ratio, increasing your businesses profits, whilst emphasizing your professionalism and good customer service.

Because HomePro is authorised and regulated by the FSA, your business does not have to be. How do I join?

It is very easy to apply for TrustMark approval, simply contact The FairTrades Association to begin the application process.

Get FairTrades to manage the application process for you...

• contact the FairTrades Association (either online or by phone – 08707 38 48 58) to obtain an application form
• complete the application form and return it to the FairTrades Association
• alternatively, visit your online FairTrades accounts and apply directly by clicking on the FairTrades TrustMark button

FairTrades will contact you for you and:

• ask for relevant business details and complete any relevant paperwork which may be required
• FairTrades will perform an Experian credit check on your business
• we will issue tradesmen with a code of practice and the associations terms and conditions and those of TrustMark too
• we will supply a TrustMark logo for use on your businesses vehicles, local advertising and business stationery such as business cards and letterheads.
• Arrange a TrustMark inspection on one of your installations within the first six months of your registration

As a registered Association Member of FairTrades your business will then be allowed to use the TrustMark benefits alongside those of FairTrades.
